Privacy policy

Plain-language version first: we store what you type, we show your full resume only to employers you apply to, and we never make your email address readable to visitors.

What we store

Your account details (name, email address, password — hashed, never stored in readable form), anything you put on your profile or resume, the posts and comments you write, the messages you send, and the jobs you apply to.

If you upload a resume PDF we keep the original file and the text our AI extracted from it, so you can re-export or correct it later.

Who can see your resume

By default, visitors and other members see only your name, headline and skills. Your full resume becomes visible to an employer at the moment you apply to one of their jobs — and what they see is a snapshot taken at that moment, so editing your resume later does not change an application you already submitted.

You can also choose to make your resume public from the resume page. That is the only way it becomes visible to anyone who has not received an application from you.

Your email address

Your email address is not readable by signed-out visitors, and it is not readable by other members. Only you, and the platform administrators who need it for account support, can see it. This is enforced in the database itself at the column level, not just hidden in the interface.

AI features

Job matching and resume extraction send the relevant text (your resume, the job description, your question) to our AI providers — DeepSeek for language tasks and Google Gemini for the similarity model. They process it to return a result; we do not send them your email address, your password, or anyone else's data.

Match scores are computed in our own code. The AI only writes the explanation you read.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party advertising.

Deleting your data

You can delete your posts and comments yourself at any time. To delete your whole account and everything attached to it, write to us from the contact page and we will action it.

Where your data lives

The database is hosted in Singapore (ap-southeast-1), the closest region available to Malaysia. Uploaded files are stored in the same project.
