About TryWithJob
A job platform built for Malaysian students and graduates, and for the employers trying to reach them.
Why it exists
Graduating in Malaysia means rewriting the same CV for every portal, applying into silence, and never finding out which skill was the one thing missing. Employers have the mirror problem: a folder of PDFs in twelve different formats and no fast way to tell who actually fits.
TryWithJob is built around one resume and one fit score. You fill in your profile once; the matching reads it against live listings and tells you both the score and the gap.
How hiring works here
An employer registers, fills in the company profile, and waits for an administrator to approve it. Only approved companies can publish jobs — which is why every listing you see came from a real reviewed organisation.
When you apply, the employer receives a structured snapshot of your resume plus an AI fit score they can sort by. Your application then moves through applied → reviewing → interview → offer or rejected, and you can follow it from your dashboard.
Where the AI is, and where it isn't
AI reads resumes and job descriptions, explains why a match fits, and answers career questions in the assistant. Every score is computed in our own code from skills, experience and semantic similarity — the AI writes the explanation, never the number, and never the hiring decision.
Where we are
Built in Sarawak, Malaysia, in English and 中文. If you are a university, an employer or a student society who wants to use it with a group, get in touch from the contact page.
